efficiently        effectively            How to improve our oral English efficiently and effectively?

efficiently= very little wasted effort.

effectively=

Is integration with the culture important?

You are from America, you have your good ways to teach students. I am from China, but I also have my good ways to teach students. I want to our student's to improve their english efficiently and effectively. So let's intergrate our lesson plans.

I'd love to give you some tips, however, you can do better than I expect if you constantly practice and reflect upon your learning experience.

consistently            continually= constantly

1---Why do we need to practice our spoken English?

Language is the tool of communication. Communication is to speak. English is used as official language in many countries.  If we don't practice our spoken English, we couldn't communicate with foreigners. our colleagues, some of them are from other's countries, they are foreign friends can not understand we speak Chinese , how do we communicate together. We go abroad to have a trip and want to do something,  how do we get our message across to the other person if we don't speak English. So English is the first language of the world. We need it to communicate with people from other countries. Practicing our spoken English for information exchanging.

2---What shall we start with?

Learning English should be fun. Speaking good English is no big deal. It's worth our time and effort. It's an easy job. Do something about it. No more excuses! Get moving. let's get started! Let's talk in English. We'd better do it now.

3---How to improve our oral English efficiently and effectively?

Watch more original English movies, listening to English song. To skilled speak idiomatic English, the only way is to put yourself into an authentic English environment.  need time and hard work. finding a peaceful place to fast read the text loudly early in the morning everyday.

4---Is integration with the culture important?

Of course the culture background knowledge in English learning is important. It is helpful to the understanding and mastery of English idioms. Vocabulary and culture in language are closely related, and idioms are vocabulary development and change of national culture is the most sensitive part. Idiom is the essence and core of language, and a national geographic environment, historical background, customs and habits, values, religious beliefs are inseparable.

5---What regional variety shall we follow, British English or American English?

I like American accent.

1---Is English easier or more difficult than your native language? Why and how?

I think they are the same to the difficulty of the.  only in the aspect of writing English is much easier than Chinese.

2---Compare English with any other language you have had to learn, in terms of grammar, spelling and pronunciation.

No matter we learn the language, we all have to learn grammar, spelling and pronunciation.

3---How should foreign languages be taught in schools? What should be the typical elements of a good lesson?

As far as I am concerned, I agree with foreign languages should be taught in nurseries or kindergartens. In order to have a good future and to study easier in future, I think this idea is very well. because they are too young,  they just learn how to speak is ok. they needn't learn about grammar and spelling.

4---When you learn a foreign language, apart from the language what else do you learn about?

When I learn a foreign language, apart from language, I like to learn about  a national geographic environment, historical background, customs and habits, values and religious.

prepare for 1 minute, then tell your partner a true story of studying English . Time limit: 3 minutes. You can write down key words and guideline.

Before studying English, I know nothing. I just can speak such as " good morning, thank you. bye." when I decided to learn it. my daughter thought I couldn't master it well. She said "mom, you even don't know how to read 26 English letters and 48 English phonetic symbol correctly,  how you can learn it by yourself?" But I thought that " I am interested in it and determined to learn it . I can learn it well." After several years hard working, I have mastered over than 2 thousand words and I can talk with friends now. Although my English is not good enough. I am still trying to learn and  I am sure one day I can speak it well.

Recite those famous speeches presented in the following additional reading materials.

She sells seashells at seashore. The shells she sells are seashells. I am sure.
